Our cedar fencing installation method involves the following steps:
- space posts apart at 100” centers, (or 99” centers for round top panels)
- dig post holes at least 24” deep
- place post in holes
- attach each panel concurrently with each post so your spacing is consistent with 8’ panels (this will reduce the need for a special sized panel)
- panels should not exceed 8’ wide
- brace post to ground
When cementing posts, “dome” the cement roughly 1 ½” above ground level to let the water run off. Keep cement exposed; dirt left in contact with post encourages premature rotting.
